The industry is called upon to demonstrate composure and restraint in the face of international developments, as the Pancyprian Association of Hotel Managers (PASYDIXE) underlines in a statement, emphasizing that this attitude is absolutely necessary until normality is restored.

According to the Association, "in these types of circumstances, short-term turbulence appears, which is mainly associated with intense international news coverage and the first market reactions," noting that over time, the real picture is reflected more clearly and balances are restored.

The current situation, it states, "calls on everyone to demonstrate responsibility, insight and professional composure, maintaining the normal flow of activity to the greatest extent possible, while at the same time cultivating readiness for a quick return to full normality."

PASYDIXE states that, while closely monitoring developments, it calls on the professional leadership of the sector to act prudently and responsibly, cultivating and supporting trust in the destination.
