Revenues from tourism in August 2021 reached € 272,5 million compared to € 71,1 million recorded in August 2020, recording an increase of 283,3%, announced the Statistical Service, based on the results of the Traveler Survey it conducts.
Compared to revenues from tourism for August 2019 (€ 431,6 million), a decrease of 36,9% was observed, as reported.
For the period January - August 2021, revenues from tourism are estimated at € 777,0 million compared to € 235,6 million in the corresponding period of 2020, recording an increase of 229,8% and a decrease of 58,2% compared to the period January - August 2019 (€ 1.856,8 million).
