With the "Award of Excellence" were recently honored by the travel site "Tripadvisor" six attractions of the Municipality of Ayia Napa.
A written announcement of the Municipality of Ayia Napa states that the sights that were honored are "Makronisos, Agia Thekla, Glyki Nero, Nissi Beach, Medieval Monastery and Sea Caves".
The award was made "after a vote of travelers, who voted to choose the above attractions among the best in the world."
Mayor Giannis Karousos stated that "this important distinction is a result of the very good work done in the Municipality of Ayia Napa in the field of promotion of our region through social media".
