The Sotiras Beach Amphitheater was packed last Friday, June 21, World Music Day from people who gathered to see for the first time the Sotiras Municipal Orchestra and the Municipal Dance Club.The amphitheater was attended not only by the audience from Sotira but also by a large number of people from the surrounding areas, who attend the events of the Cultural Committee of the Municipality of Sotira.
The Cultural Figures of the Municipality really impressed the audience, as they showed that in their first appearance they have the quality but also the enthusiasm to put on perfect performances.
The Municipal Orchestra consisting of thirteen members and conducted by Mr. Loukas Zymaras presented the best Greek songs in a program of two and a half hours, while the young and old dancers of the Municipal Dance Club participated under the tutelage of Panagiotis Giannikouris and Margarita Tkaris.
The public, excited by the ensembles of the Municipality, applauded the young and old musicians and dancers, giving them the strength to continue their uninterrupted voluntary cultural contribution to our Municipality.
