- 8 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 vanillin or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup flour that swells on its own
- 1/2 cup chocolate drops (dark or milk)
- Preheat the oven to 175-180 degrees.
- Butter a baking tray (20 × 20) or cover it with non-stick paper.
- In a bowl add the melted butter and brown sugar and mix with a spatula until the sugar has melted.
- Add the egg, vanilla and salt.
- Add the flour and mix with the spatula until the ingredients are homogenous and add the chocolate drops.
- Spread the mixture in the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. The cake remains juicy after baking.
- Allow to cool and cut into pieces.
