Pork chops with Jack Daniel's sauce

Ingredients for 4 people

• 1 kg pork chops
• salt
• freshly ground pepper

For the sauce

• 1½ tablespoon tabasco
• 1 chopped onion
• 4 tablespoons red vinegar
• 4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
• 2 cups brown sugar
• Or a glass of whiskey
• ½ cup of water
• 2 cubes of beef

Implementation

1. You start by making the sauce. Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
2. Stir until the sugar melts so that it does not stick to the bottom and become caramel and as soon as they get the first boil, lower the intensity of the eye in half.
3. Then simmer for a long time, stirring regularly, until your sauce starts to thicken.
4. Allow to cool before serving, so that it thickens more and has the texture of a thin jam.
5. To make this sauce, choose a deep saucepan, so that even at times when your sauce will swell, it will not spill out of the pan.
6. Before serving, and if you want to give your sauce a little more intensity, drip a few more drops of whiskey and mix.
7. Earlier you have taken the steaks out of the fridge and grilled them on the BBQ or on the coals over medium heat on both sides.

Additional tips:

1. Use tweezers instead of a fork. This way the meat will not pierce and will not lose its juices.
2. The steak should be at room temperature before cooking.
3. To make the meat juicier, pass a kiwi cut in half on top, as it softens it before cooking.
4. When done, wrap the steak in foil for about five minutes, helping it retain its juices.
