Stuffed pork roll with apple

Ingredients for 4 people

For the pork

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 chopped green apples
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped rosemary
  • About 1 kg of pork fillet
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth

For the sauce
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon mustard

Implementation

For the pork

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the apples, onions and garlic and sauté for 5 minutes.
  3. Add vinegar and rosemary, cook for 1 minute and sprinkle with pepper.
  4. With a knife, deeply cut the pork lengthwise and with your hands open it in the middle without cutting it.
  5. Then spread a film over the pork and beat it with the hammer until it becomes a flat fillet of uniform thickness.
  6. Open the fillet and fill it with the apple mixture. Fold the pork into a roll and tie it with string.
  7. Then brown the pork in a hot pan until it turns brown on all sides for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Place the pork in a pan and cook in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes with heating elements.
  9. Remove from the oven, leave for 5 minutes before cutting.

For the sauce
In a saucepan, heat the honey with the mustard until it becomes a soft porridge. Finally, sprinkle the pork with the sauce and serve.
