Lemon chicken with honey-mustard sauce

For the chicken

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 50 ml of olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

For the sauce

  • 4 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 sk. garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp. simple mustard
  • 1 and others honey
  • 50 ml of water
  • Grate 1 lemon
  • Juice of a lemon
  • ½ κ.γ. mustard powder
  • 1 pinch of cumin
  • 1 pinch of paprika
  • 1 pinch of dry oregano
  • 1 pinch of dried basil
  • 1 pinch of dried thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper

For vegetables

  • 2 large potatoes cut into quarters
  • 100 g asparagus

Execution method

For the chicken

  • Preheat the oven to 200 ° C, in the air. Lightly grease a baking tray
  • Sprinkle the fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Place the fillets in the pan. Put all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl and mix well.
  • Pour a little of the sauce on the chicken and massage the chicken so that our marinade goes everywhere.
  • Put the rest of the sauce on our vegetables and stir.
  • On each chicken breast, place lemon slices.
  • Cover with foil.
  • Bake with the foil for 30-40 and for another 5 minutes without the foil.
  • Serve with fresh salad.

  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Lemon juice from 1 lemon
  • ½ tsp mustard powder
  • 1 pinch cumin cumin
  • 1 pinch sweet paprika
  • 1 pinch dry oregano
  • 1 pinch dry rosemary
  • 1 pinch dry basil
  • 1 pinch dried thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper

For the vegetables

  • 2 large potatoes, cut into fourths
  • 100g of asparagus

Method

  • Preheat your oven to 200 ° C. Lightly oil a baking pan.
  • Season chicken breasts generously on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Arrange seasoned chicken breasts in the baking pan. Whisk all the ingredients for the sauce.
  • Pour the sauce over chicken and arrange potatoes and asparagus around chicken. Drizzle the veggies with the remaining sauce.
  • Top each chicken breast with a slice of lemon.
  • Transfer to the oven and bake, loosely covered with foil for 30-40 minutes, until chicken and potatoes are done. Remove foil and bake for 5 minutes more to crisp up the edges.
  • Remove from oven and serve with fresh salad.
