Liguini with shrimp

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 500 gr. linguine
  • salt
  • pepper
  • gruyere grated for serving
  • 400 gr. whipping cream
  • 500 gr. peeled frozen shrimp
  • 1/2 bunch of parsley
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup ouzo
  • parsley

Implementation

  1. Boil the linguini with 1 tablespoon of salt and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce.
  3. In a large pan, put the olive oil and shrimp.
  4. Cover the shrimp and let them boil for about 10 minutes.
  5. The shrimp will make juice as they boil.
  6. Remove the shrimp from the pan and place them on a plate.
  7. Pour the ouzo in the pan and boil until half the juice is left.
  8. Add the sour cream, pepper and parsley.
  9. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
  10. Remove the sauce from the heat, and add the shrimp. Mix well.
  11. Mix the shrimp sauce with the spaghetti after we have strained them, and serve with sprinkled gruyere.
