Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup tea olive oil
- 1/4 cup tea with tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. freshly cut basil
- 1/2 tbsp. salt
- 1/4 tbsp. Cayenne pepper
- 1 kg of shrimp cleaned
- Straws for souvlaki
Implementation
- In a large bowl, mix the garlic, olive oil, tomato sauce and vinegar.
- Add the basil, salt and pepper and mix again until the mixture is homogeneous.
- Place the shrimp in the bowl and stir until evenly coated in the marinade.
- Cover the bowl with a transparent film and place in the refrigerator for about half an hour, stirring once or twice.
- Heat the grill over medium heat and place the shrimp on the skewer straws, piercing one on the head and one on the tail.
- Pour a little oil on the grill and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side.
