Semolina halva with raisins

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 200 grams of coarse semolina
  • 200 grams of black currants
  • 400 grams of fresh milk
  • 200 grams of butter
  • 100 grams of pine cones
  • Cinnamon powder
  • walnuts, coarsely chopped for serving

Implementation

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the semolina, pine nuts, raisins over medium heat and stir constantly for 7 minutes.
  2. In another pot, heat the milk with the sugar and as soon as they boil then pour the boiled milk over the roasted semolina and add the raisins.
  3. Turn up the heat slightly and stir until all the liquid ingredients are dry. Remove from the heat, cover with a towel and leave to cool.
  4. When it cools, with the help of a fork, comb the halva to make it granular. Serve with cinnamon and coarsely chopped walnuts.
