"Skatsia", the Sicilian wrapped pizza

Ingredients

• 1 sheet of dough for
• a little flour for the opening
• 2 and others olive oil
• 1 cup tomato sauce
• 200 gr. grated
• 6 thin slices of ham
• a little fresh basil

Implementation

On a floured surface, open the dough with a rolling pin, sprinkling with a little flour whenever necessary. The sheet at the end should be very thin. Spread the sauce, smearing the entire surface of the pizza.

Put the ham in very thin slices, leaving a gap of about two centimeters around the perimeter of the sheet. Add the basil and the mozzarella but keep 3 tbsp. grated mozzarella for the end. Close the sides of the leaf by 1/3 almost to the middle of the leaf and add the rest of the mozzarella.

Lay a non-stick paper on a baking sheet. Place the wrapped stuffed pizza with the point that joins down in the pan. Spread with a little olive oil and drill a few holes in the surface of the dough.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C in the air, on the middle grill for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let stand for a few minutes and cut into thick slices.
