Homemade strawberry ice cream

Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg fresh peeled strawberries
  • 1 1/2 cup cream tea
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup teaspoon sugar
  • 3 tbsp vanilla extract

Implementation

step 1

Put the strawberries in a blender and beat until they get the texture of puree. Put them in a large bowl and set aside.

step 2

Heat 1 and 1/4 cup in a saucepan. teaspoon of sour cream over medium heat and let it take a base.

step 3

In a bowl, whisk together the sugar, egg yolks, vanilla extract and remaining cream.

step 4

Gradually add the hot cream to the egg mixture, stirring constantly.

step 5

Pour the whole mixture into the pot and heat until it acquires a smooth and thick texture. Do not let it boil.

step 6

Add the cream to the strawberry puree, stir and place in the freezer until frozen.
