Double Chocolate Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 1/3 fl. teaspoon unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cups teaspoon flour for all uses
  • 1/2 fl. of unsweetened cocoa powder tea
  • 1 fl. tea chocolate chips, divided

Implementation

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a cake tin with a little oil or butter.

Mash the bananas in a large bowl, add the melted butter and oil and mix. Add the egg, vanilla and brown sugar and mix until combined.

In another bowl, lightly mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. Add the wet ingredients to the solids and mix until the mixture is smooth. Finally, add half the chocolate chips.

Pour the mixture into the tin, garnish with the remaining chocolate pieces and bake for 50-55 minutes in the preheated oven or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.
