Recipe for French lemon tart

Ingredients

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup tea with lemon juice
  • Grate 2 lemons
  • 3/4 cup teaspoon butter
  • 1 pre-baked tart base

Implementation

step 1

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Prepare the lemon cream by mixing the egg yolks, whole eggs, sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest in a baking pan - a large bowl placed on top of a cooking utensil with hot boiling water.

step 3

Once the mixture is homogeneous, add the butter and beat the mixture for about 10 minutes, until thickened.

step 4

Pour the lemon cream into the pre-baked tart base and bake in the preheated oven for 6 minutes.

Allow the tart to cool before sprinkling it (optional) with icing sugar.
