Ingredients
- 1/4 cup teaspoon unsalted butter at room temperature
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 2 spring onions, cut into thin slices
- 1 tbsp honey
- 12 mini butter croissants, cut in half
- 3/4 kg smoked ham in thin slices
- 6 slices of cheese, cut diagonally
- 1 large egg white
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp. poppy seed (optional)
Implementation
step 1
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and spread a greased pan on a baking sheet.

In a small bowl, mix the butter with the mustard, spring onions and honey. Season to taste and stir.

Spread the butter mixture on each side of the croissants and fill with ham and cheese and place in the prepared pan.
step 4
In a small bowl beat the egg white and 1 tbsp. Brush the tops of the croissants with the mixture and sprinkle with poppy seeds.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes and serve hot.
