Ingredients for 6 people
For the dough
- 1 sachet of dry yeast or 10 gr. fresh
- 1 cup water, lukewarm
- 500 g flour for all uses
- salt
For stuffing
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 dried onions, cut as in the village
- 1 tsp salt
- 500 gr. cherry tomatoes, cut in half
- 500 gr. slice
- 1 tbsp. oregano, dry
Implementation
- Dissolve the yeast in 3 tbsp. lukewarm water. Put the flour, yeast and salt in a bowl.
- Add the water -maybe you need a little more- and knead until you have a pliable dough that does not stick to the fingers.
- Once the ingredients are homogenized, transfer the dough to the kitchen counter to make it easier to work with.
- Shape a ball, put it back in the bowl, cover it and leave it for 30-45 minutes, until it doubles in volume.
- Meanwhile, in a non-stick pan, heat 2 tbsp. oil and sauté the onions with a little salt for a few minutes until soft.
- Preheat the oven to 180oC. Grease a shallow pan and spread the dough on the bottom and the walls, pressing with your fingers.
- We want it to come out thin, like pizza. Spread the cherry tomatoes, onions, peppers, feta cheese and oregano on the dough and sprinkle with the remaining olive oil.
- Bake the tart for about 45 minutes.
