Tortilla with potatoes

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 8 eggs
  • 4 + 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Implementation

  1. First, peel the potatoes and onions. Then cut them lengthwise into three and then vertically into cubes of about 2 cm.
  2. Pour the 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and when it burns, sauté the potatoes.
  3. Then, add the onions, lower the heat, cover the pan and let the food boil for 15 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and strain.
  4. Then put the eggs in a large bowl and beat with a fork or whisk.
  5. Then add the potatoes and onions, season with salt and pepper and mix well.
  6. Heat the remaining olive oil in a large, deep pan and quickly pour in the mixture.
  7. Flatten the surface and fry for 10 minutes on high heat, without covering.
  8. Remove the pan from the heat, turn the tortilla over on a plate (or lid) and let it "slide" back into the pan.
  9. Bake for another 5 minutes on low heat. Serve warm.
