Components
For the bars
- 400 gr. peanut butter
- 400 gr. honey
- 300 gr. rice cereals
- 1 pinch salt
For overlapping
- 300 gr. chocolate couverture, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp. peanut butter
Execution method
- Spread oil paste on a baking sheet and set aside.
- Heat the honey in a saucepan. Remove from the heat and add the peanut butter and salt and stir.
- Finally, add the cereal and mix well.
- Place the mixture inside and spread well with your hand.
- Cover the mixture with a film and put it in the fridge or freezer for at least 2 hours until it stabilizes.
- Melt in a baking pan the ingredients for the coating and mix to homogenize.
- Cover the chocolate on the bars and spread it evenly with a spatula.
- Return the bars to the refrigerator for another 2 hours until the chocolate is firm.
- Cut into pieces and enjoy!

For the bars

for the topping
- 300 gr. couverture chocolate, chopped
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
Method
- Line the bottom and sides of a baking dish with parchment paper, set aside.
- In a large non-stick pot set over medium-low heat, add the honey. Once melted remove from the heat, stir in the peanut butter and salt until smooth.
- Add rice cereal into the pot, mix to combine well.
- Then pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press with your hands to create a dense, even layer.
- Place in the refrigerator or freezer to chill for 2 hours.
- Melt the chocolate and the peanut butter over a bain-marie until smooth. Spread over the top of the bars.
- Place in the refrigerator to chill for 2 hours before cutting and serving.
