A 14-year-old woman from Australia fell in love with a 37th century stone bridge, finally deciding to join him in marriage, in front of relatives and friends.
Jodi Rose from Sydney, Australia was found for holidays in southern France in 2013 and her life changed radically as soon as she came in contact with the stone bridge of "Le Pont du Diable", which has been on the spot for about 1.150 years.
Rose's acquaintance with the "Devil's Bridge" took place during a young Australian business trip to various parts of the world, where she observed and studied the architecture of old bridges, while she noted speaking to Channel 7 of Australia that with the who stepped on the foot of the bridge, she immediately realized that this was the chosen bridge of her heart.
Rose considered that the stone bridge met all the necessary conditions to make it happy, as according to her "The stability, beauty, trust and confidence she exudes are all she was looking for in a husband".
Rose, however, did not just stay in the words but decided to make her dream come true, organizing her wedding with the stone bridge, which was performed by the mayor of a nearby city, in the presence of 14 guests (all on the bride's side).
However, psychiatrists have a different and slightly more down-to-earth view of this peculiar marriage, believing that Rose suffers from a psychological disorder called synesthesia, and that those who suffer from it may be under the impression that inanimate objects have emotions and have the ability to function just like humans.
