Europe is famous for its food, which combines tradition, history and deliciousness. However, there is one European city that can officially say it has the best food on the planet.
Time Out magazine surveyed thousands of locals about the food in their city to come up with a brand new ranking of the world's best cities for food.
In this list, Naples was rated as the best city in the world for the quality and affordability of its food.
The preparation and sharing of food is at the heart of Italian culture, from the warm, hearty dishes served in the North, to all the fresh seafood devoured on the islands.
But if there's one thing Italy is famous for, it's its pizza, and there's nothing better than the open, flip and bake margherita pizzas in Naples (sometimes for as little as €1).
Pizza was born in Naples in the 19th century as a quick, affordable meal for the city's working classes, and the old pizzerias (mostly centered on Via dei Tribunali, also known as Pizza Street) continue to feed hungry Neapolitans today.
Naples was not the only European city to make the list. Liverpool came in at No 11, thanks to a generous helping of exciting young chefs, and Seville was ranked 13th, with local writer Anna Kaminski saying the city's food scene "is one of the most exciting in Spain for years".
Porto, Lyon and Copenhagen made the Top 20.
