A video showing an unexpected visitor to a military canteen in Bengal has gone viral. An elephant entered the empty room and began to drag tables and chairs. Canteen workers quickly noticed him and to scare him they lit a torch and waved it in front of him to get out.
Eventually the elephant, terrified by the fire and the voices, came out of the area, while as seen in the video at least one soldier was watching the scene and recording it on his cell phone.
Local media do not report what happened to the wild animal or whether it was injured.
