Mayor Sotiras said it and he did it. At a shaving event held by the Municipality of Sotiras on Thursday for Movember Cyprus, the Mayor, George Takkas, sat in the barber's chair and shaved his mustache after 40 whole years.
The move of Mayor Sotiras took place in the context of an awareness campaign carried out by the Non-Profit Organization Movember Cyprus.
The event took place on Thursday afternoon at Sotiras City Hall and professional barbers from Sotiras shaved the men from 3 to 7 pm at a cocktail party.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Movember Cyprus.
