Famagusta Municipalities: These are the polling stations and the information about the elections

The polling stations and the distribution of voters who will vote in the elections of August 25, for the new Mayor of Famagusta, after the sudden death of Alexis Galanos were announced.

Specifically, in an announcement of the Commissioner for Alternative Elections, Commissioner of Famagusta Georgios Chrysafini, it is stated that the elections will be held from 7 in the morning until 6 in the afternoon with an hour break from 12 to one at noon.

A total of 44 polling stations will operate for the elections, ie 4 in the free province of Famagusta, 7 in Nicosia, 13 in Larnaca, 19 in Limassol and 1 in Paphos.

It is recalled that five candidacies were submitted for the mayoralty of occupied Famagusta. Specifically, the candidacy was submitted by Linos Papagiannis supported by ELAM and four independent candidates who in alphabetical order are Ioannou Simos, Karoulas Nikos, Lord Andreas and Stavri Georgios.
