AVGOROU: Antonis Papageorgiou and Christodoulos Laoutaris are buried 47 years late

The missing soldiers Papageorgiou Antonis Anastasis and Laoutari Christodoulos Georgiou, who fell fighting during the brutality of the Turkish Invasion, are buried with 47 years delay in their birthplace of the community of Avgorou.

Their remains were found in the area of ​​Templos in occupied Kyrenia.

The outgoing procession will be sung next Saturday, July 17 at 11:00 am from the Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul in Avgorou, headed by the Most Venerable Metropolitan of Constantia and Famagusta Mr. Vassilios.
