AVGOROU: 13-year-old Christina Bouzana in India for the World Chess Olympics

An important distinction for the student of the Chess Academy of the club "Working Departure", Christina Bouzana from Avgorou as she secured her participation in the National Women's Chess Team.

Christina's journey began with her participation in this year's Cyprus Open Chess Championship.

Her distinction in the Open Championship gave her the right to participate in the closed Chess Championship of Cyprus, with the distinguished ones participating in the National Women's Team. This is the first time that Cyprus will participate in the World Chess Olympiad with a women's team.

With her performance, Christina managed to win a place in the Women's National Team at the age of 13.

This important distinction is the result of many years of preparation, dedication and love of Christina in this sport.

An important role in Christina's success was played by her family for the support and the educator of the children of the chess academy of the association, Pigasios Hatzinikolaou.
