The cancellation of the two-day events of the Flood and the Water Festival due to the restrictive measures for the coronavirus was recently announced by the Municipality of Ayia Napa.

"The Municipality of Ayia Napa announces that due to the restrictive measures to stop the pandemic of Covid 19 and at the suggestion of the competent authorities, the two-day celebrations of the Flood / Water Festival which despite the fact that they were scheduled to take place in a purely local character since they included music and dance performances only by local groups as well as Cypriot Poetry, Love Songs and Love Songs. The Municipality assures the public that these events will take place at a later stage when conditions allow. "
