The Police proceeded to arrest three British men aged 25, 24 and 19, to facilitate investigations regarding an investigated case of assault causing serious bodily harm.

Specifically, in the early hours of July 17 at 2.30, in Ayia Napa, the three young men - brothers from Great Britain, were causing a disturbance in the area of ​​the hotel where they were staying, as a result of disturbing the residents.

According to his information FamagustaNews, a Greek Cypriot who worked in the area, tried to stop their provocation and as a result it increased....

One of the attackers walked down the street in front of the hotel, pulled down his pants, showing off his genitals.

The Greek Cypriot in question, together with a patron from the hotel, tried again to stop him as he was in the middle of the road and at the same time causing trouble.

The incident was transferred inside the hotel where one of the three attacked the Greek Cypriot and the patron, resulting in the young man biting the Greek Cypriot employee's ear and injuring the patron.

The two injured were taken to Famagusta General Hospital where they were given first aid and discharged. It should be noted that one of the two injured was given a referral to a plastic surgeon after it was found that his left ear had been cut off.

The three Britons, as reported in FamagustaNews o The Press Officer of the Famagusta Police Directorate, Steve Theodoulou, tried to leave the hotel early in the morning when the scheduled time was 12 noon, but they were arrested at Larnaca airport and are currently in court.
