SAINT NAPA: Plaques to the sculptors who completed their works at the sculpture symposium

The Mayor of Ayia Napa Christos Zannettou visited the Sculpture Park and awarded plaques to the sculptors who completed their works

Accompanied by the Cultural Officer of the Municipality Ms. Maria Tofini Tsantila, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannettou, today, Friday, May 26, 2023, visited the area of ​​the Sculpture Park where he awarded commemorative plaques to the artists Coralie Quincey from France and Sergii Oleshko from Ukraine, who completed their works.

The French sculptor created the works "KISS I", "KISS II" while the Ukrainian sculptor created the works "Ikar" and "Flower". Awarding the plaques to the two artists, Mr. Zannettou thanked them and at the same time congratulated them for the emblematic works they created and assured that the Municipality will continue to organize sculpture symposiums to further enrich the Park with sculptures and at the same time additional infrastructure will be built, which will they are facilities but at the same time they will be infrastructures that will be enjoyed by everyone browsing the Park.

He also expressed his warm thanks to the initiator of the Sculpture Park, President of the Symposium Mr. Kikis Constantinou for his guidance, ideas and for his intense activity, the Board of Directors of the "΄Aroma" Association Friends of the Sculpture Park of Ayia Napa for the support and the Cultural Officer of the Municipality Ms. Maria Tofini Tsantila for her tireless efforts to make the banquets a success.
