The Famagusta District Court today issued a three-day detention order against two people aged 48 and 39, to facilitate police investigations into an investigation into assault and infliction of grievous bodily harm, crimes committed on Saturday, July 30 against a man and a woman. , aged 39 and 36 years.
An announcement from the Communication Office of the Police Headquarters states that according to a complaint submitted by the two people, while they were at a property in the Ayia Napa area, they were attacked by five men, resulting in injuries.
Specifically, the 39-year-old suffered a fracture in his nose and front tooth, a ruptured eardrum and bruises on various parts of his body.
The 36-year-old was also injured in the body after suffering bruises in various places.
The two injured were taken to a private clinic, where the 39-year-old was kept for treatment for two days, while the 36-year-old was discharged, after she was given first aid.
