Ayia Napa: Two young women arrested for selling laughing gas

Two foreigners, aged 21 and 18, were arrested in Ayia Napa for illegally selling laughing gas.

According to the Police, members of the Ayia Napa Police Station located two foreign girls, aged 4.10 and 21, at around 18 am today, illegally selling nitrogen oxide (laughing gas), at a restaurant in Ayia Napa.

In the possession of the young people were found two metal cans, 114 unused ampoules, 27 used ampoules, 62 balloons and the amount of 70 euros.

The findings were taken as evidence while the two girls were arrested for a self-inflicted crime and subsequently charged in writing and released to be summoned before a court.

The Agia Napa Police Station is investigating the case.
