The third suspect, a 23-year-old man, who was arrested yesterday by members of the Police, in connection with the investigated case of a clash that took place last Sunday in the province of Famagusta, was placed in custody today with six-day court decrees.
Two other suspects, also 23-year-old men, are already in custody with seven-day court orders issued yesterday by the Famagusta District Court, for the purpose of police investigations.
The clash of a number of people took place around 3.30 in the early hours of Sunday, on Agia Mavri Avenue, in Ayia Napa. During the clash, those involved allegedly used various offensive tools such as knives, axes and stones.
The case is being investigated by the Famagusta Police Department.
