Famagusta Hospital: Minibus returned to the Municipality of Ayia Napa for patients with coronary heart disease

The Minibus donated to the General Hospital of Famagusta by the company Attica Holidays was returned after the initiative of the Mayor of Ayia Napa Mr. Christos Zannettos
Delivered today, Friday 22 May, to the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannenou by the Director of the General Hospital of Famagusta, Mrs. Amalia Hatzigianni, in the presence of the Executive Director of OKYPY Larnaca / Famagusta, Mr. Attica Holidays, Mr. Vassilis Pavlou, on the initiative of the Mayor of Ayia Napa, for the transfer of patients who have been hospitalized in the reference hospital and treated for the disease Covid 19 in their homes on a Pancyprian basis.

Delivering the Minibus, both Mrs. Amalia Hatzigianni and Mr. George Karotsakis, after thanking the Mayor for his initiative and Mr. Pavlos for the concession of the bus, stressed that this action was an oasis in the difficult times he had to face. the ambulance service, which due to the large volume of work, could not serve as usual, the recovering patients as well as for the patients themselves as it was forbidden by their relatives to transport them to their homes. Such acts they pointed out are commendable and are an example to be imitated.

On his part, the Mayor of Ayia Napa expressed his heartfelt thanks for their kind words and assured that the Municipality of Ayia Napa will always be on the side of the Administration of the Hospital, the Medical and Nursing Staff and the patients.
