The Mayor, Mr. Christos Zannettou, today, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, welcomed the cycling team of Marina Theodorou as part of the cycling route "I CYCLE FOR A EURO", which this year is also part of the corporate social responsibility program of ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets "Children, Nutrition and Health", which is carried out with the strategic cooperation of the Charalambidis Kristis dairy industry.
In his short greeting, the Mayor Mr. Christos Zannettos, after congratulating both the Cypriot athlete Marina Theodorou and the cyclists who accompany her for the social work they carry out through sports and their selfless contribution, also pointed out the importance of organizing such initiatives that aim as he mentioned both in the strengthening of the social offering and information on the issues of nutrition and sports which includes the Child, Nutrition and Health program with the aim of reducing childhood obesity in Cyprus, as well as the financial support of the Cypriot Association of Cypriot Rheumatists for children with rheumatism diseases and mobility difficulties.
For her part, Mrs. Marina Theodorou, on behalf of her team, thanked the Municipality of Ayia Napa and especially the Mayor Mr. Christos Zannettos for his hospitality and continuous support, which, as she pointed out, gives both her and her cycling team the strength to continue with the same love and dedication what they do.
