The number of arrests related to the incidents that took place last Sunday, October 11, at the Deryneia roadblock, has risen to nine, following the arrest of three other people to facilitate the investigations.
They are a 23-year-old resident of a village in the province of Famagusta and a 27-year-old resident of Limassol, who were arrested yesterday, and a 22-year-old resident of Larnaca, who was arrested this morning, based on court orders.
Crimes such as harassment, causing malicious damage to property and conspiracy to commit a crime are being investigated against them.
In the previous days, six other persons, aged 25, 27, 22, 41, 21 and 29, were detained for the purpose of facilitating the interrogations.
