The Municipality of Deryneia announces that this year, on Shrove Monday 7.3.2022, the public will be able to enjoy nature next to the renovated chapel of Agia Marina in the Dead Zone from 9:00 am. until 4:30 p.m., following the approval of his request to the United Nations.
All excursionists are invited to comply with the instructions of the United Nations and to be limited to the area around the chapel. Private cars will be allowed on site to the point designated by the United Nations.
The chapel will remain open for pilgrimage, while excursionists will have the opportunity to rejoice and enjoy the enchanting nature and the wonderful spectacle from the dam of Agia Marina against the backdrop of Famagusta.
