According information provided by Famagusta.News, the pseudo-state has already started the installation of the special canopies for the pseudo-police, in electrification works as well as in the asphalting works of the road that will connect Deryneia with the occupied Famagusta through Famagusta Avenue.

Relevant were also the reports of the activist of the "Initiative for Famagusta" Okan Dagli, who told on Social Media that the occupying side has started feverish work to complete the work and speed up the opening.

Besides, they were also relevant yesterday's Yeni Duzen posts, which even hosts statements by Okan Dagli confirming the fact.

Of course, this fact may be connected with the contacts that President Anastasiadis is currently making in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, while according to a Government source, it is not excluded that the Turkish side indulges in impressive moves, a few Twenty-four hours before the meeting of President Anastasiadis scheduled for September 28 with the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Gutierrez.

Asked to comment on any steps taken by Turkey for the Deryneia roadblock, Deputy Government Spokesman Viktoras Papadopoulos said on Sigma's "Mesimeri kai Kati" show that the work was not being carried out under the responsibility of the Turkish side. "If there is some mobility, we will see it and take a responsible position," he said.

It is noted, of course, that no action has been taken regarding the Turkish military outpost, despite pressure from the United Nations as it is in a dead zone.
