The Government has neither information nor a proposal from the Turkish Cypriot side for demining in Deryneia, said the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis.
In his statements to journalists, attending an event at the Armenian school Narek, and asked to comment on information that the Turkish Cypriot leader intends to submit a proposal for demining, in order to give access to the beach and serve his plans to build houses in Deryneia, the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis said that "when such a proposal is submitted we will respond. No, we are not aware of such an intention. We have neither information nor a proposal from the Turkish Cypriot side."
