With a spectacular event, the Christmas Village of the Municipality of Deryneia opened its doors on Friday, November 25. The Christmas Village of the Municipality of Deryneia is one of the seven Cypriot ones approved and financed by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism in small communities and critical areas.

The opening ceremony was announced by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Savvas Perdios, while the Mayor of Deryneia, Andros Karagiannis, and the Metropolitan of Constantia-Ammochosto, Vasileios, addressed the opening ceremony.
The minister's Christmas Villages in Agro, Deryneia, Kalavasos, Kalopanagioti, Kyperounda, Poli Chrysochous and Fikardou will remain open until January 15, 2023.
Entertainment events, stalls with local products and handicrafts, workshops on gastronomy and handicrafts, activities in nature, tours of the villages, restaurants and accommodation in the wider area with delicious holiday menus and many other surprises will fill you with uniquely Cypriot Christmas experiences.
