Thousands of visitors attended this year one of the largest (if not the largest) festival of local products held in our country.
The 11th Pancyprian Strawberry Festival of the Municipality of Deryneia managed to gather thousands of locals and foreign visitors this year who had the opportunity to try one of the dozens of delicious strawberry preparations.
The artistic program was undertaken by the well-known Greek artists Petros Imbrios and Triantaphyllos, while the presentation was undertaken by the popular radio producers of Politia FM 106.7 Doxia Moutsouri and Andreas Zampas who entertained the visitors with a live music link.
The opening of the Festival, which this year celebrates 20 years of life, was announced by the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Costas Kadis, while the Mayor of Deryneia, Andros Karagianis, wrote on Social Media a characteristic comment that demonstrates the festival's success: “As if the humidity was falling like rain, tonight no pin is falling! Thank you. Deryneia's 11th Pancyprian Strawberry Festival. Full house again. Thank you very much. ”
