A 19-year-old driver is being treated in the intensive care unit of the Famagusta General Hospital after a car accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon on the Frenaro-Avgorou road.
According to Famagusta.News, around 4 pm on Sunday, a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old man from Bulgaria, a permanent resident of Cyprus, was traveling with a 33-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, also from Bulgaria. residents of Cyprus, was moving in the direction of Frenaros from Avgorou, when under conditions under investigation the driver lost control resulting in the vehicle being diverted to an adjacent field.
As a result of the collision, the three passengers were injured and transported by ambulance and private vehicles to the General Hospital of Famagusta.
According to the information, the 19-year-old is being treated in critical condition in the intensive care unit as he has a lung injury. The 33-year-old man has a broken rib while the 21-year-old man was fired after receiving first aid.
At first glance and according to the police examinations, the passengers allegedly did not wear a seat belt.
