LAKE: New complaint about dead flamingos in the lake (PICTURES)

Another incident with a dead flamingo in Lake Paralimni is being reported by citizens on social media.

According to a relevant post in a group on a social network related to the photo of Lake Paralimni, citizens record an incident where last Saturday (29/1/2022), while they were on the shore of the Lake, a flamingo approached them, obviously exhausted. They reportedly took it to a local veterinarian, who submitted it for examination and x-ray, where, according to the post, large quantities of shrapnel were found in the stomach as well as in the throat and larynx. The veterinarian then performed a gastric lavage, but it was too late. According to the post, it is the second flamingo found dead, while a third flamingo fortunately managed to save it.
