According to the tender documents submitted before the Finance Committee of the Parliament for information purposes, the contract will be awarded to the cheapest bidder.

The contract concerns the supply of 25 saloon type vehicles with a displacement of 1750-2250 cc. with an estimated purchase cost of? 825.000 as well as the supply of 17 saloon type vehicles with a displacement of 2750 -3330 cc. with an estimated purchase cost of 663.000.

Based on the tender documents, the Republic reserves the right, if it so wishes, after the end of the Cypriot presidency (31/12/2012) to return to the successful bidder part or all of the vehicles, paying only the cost of use / amortization for the period to be used.

It is pointed out that all vehicles decided to be returned must be in good condition and have not traveled more than 10 thousand kilometers.

As mentioned in the contract, the delivery of vehicles must be done no later than 15/6/2012 at the Ministry of Finance or elsewhere within Nicosia.
