According to the Police, today around 09.15 in the morning, a 37-year-old man from Russia, who was on vacation in Cyprus, was found unconscious in the bedroom bed of his house, by his wife.
An ambulance was called to the scene, whose nurses tried to offer the man First Aid, but to no avail. The 37-year-old was taken to the General Hospital of Famagusta in Paralimni, where the doctors on duty confirmed his death.
The body of the man was inspected by members of the Paralimni Police Station, but no injuries were identified.
The medical examiner was immediately informed and told the Police that there was no need for an autopsy on the body of the 37-year-old since there was no suspicion of a crime.
The man's wife reported to the Police that last Sunday, July 26, the 37-year-old felt back pain and shortness of breath. They visited the Famagusta General Hospital together and the doctors, after examining her husband, gave him medication and he was fired.
The exact causes of death of the 37-year-old will be verified by the legal autopsy that will be performed tomorrow at the Larnaca General Hospital.
