The German tourist Seitz Helga was honored with the title of Ambassador of Tourism of Ayia Napa for her numerous visits.
A written announcement from the Municipality of Ayia Napa states that "Seitz Helga visited Ayia Napa two to three times a year for twenty-five consecutive years. The highest distinction in the honoree was awarded yesterday by the Municipal Councilor and Chairman of the Technical Committee Thanasis Giasemi ".
Mr. Giasemi expressed to Mrs. Seitz "the heartfelt wishes of himself and Mayor Giannis Karousos and their satisfaction for the fact that Ayia Napa has been for a number of years the permanent destination for her holidays".
He also stated that "the title of the Ambassador of Tourism of Ayia Napa rightfully belongs to her, since in the most practical and convincing way she promotes the city abroad".
