According to information broadcast tonight by the main television news bulletin of RIK, the Turkish side insists on conveying to the Greek Cypriot the message that the only thing it accepts is a discussion of Confidence Building Measures, rejecting the position of the Greek Cypriot side to continue the talks. , which have not been discussed so far.

According to the same information, it seems that the meeting, which will take place next Friday between the advisors of the two leaders, George Iakovou and Kudret Ozersai, will probably be the last chance to find a formula for continuing the talks.
