A French tourist was found unconscious in Ayia Napa

A 23-year-old tourist from France, who was beaten in the early hours of Thursday by an unknown person in Ayia Napa, is being treated in the intensive care unit of the Larnaca General Hospital with injuries and bruises on the head and face and partial amnesia.

According to the Police, around 04:00 on Thursday morning, a 23-year-old tourist from France who lives in Ayia Napa, was transported by ambulance to the Larnaca General Hospital in a coma and was kept in the intensive care unit.

The 23-year-old was given medication and after regaining consciousness he reported to the Police that he was beaten by another person in an unknown place in Ayia Napa.

The 23-year-old, who presents with partial amnesia, has injuries and bruises on his head and face. His state of health remains stable but out of danger.

Investigations carried out by the Police revealed that the 23-year-old was picked up at around 01:15 yesterday morning by an ambulance from a private clinic in Ayia Napa, whose driver located him unconscious on Agia Mavris Street in Ayia Napa and first transported him to the General Hospital. Paralimni.

However, due to the criticality of his condition, he was admitted to Larnaca General Hospital.

The Agia Napa Police Station is investigating the case.
