Subsidized employment plans by the Ministry. Working

The Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance has announced and implemented six subsidized employment or training plans, with the aim of activating and social reintegrating the beneficiaries of the Minimum Guaranteed Income (SEN) who are able to work.

The goal of the Ministry and the central policy of the Government is the activation of the able-bodied beneficiaries of the EU and their support for integration in the labor market.

The Ministry's effort to achieve this goal is continuous and the projects announced and implemented by the Ministry focus on three categories, namely employer incentives and synergies with the private sector for the employment of unemployed SEN beneficiaries, training and internship of beneficiaries. EUE in specific sectors and professions for integration and reintegration into the labor market, and training and acquisition of skills to facilitate reintegration or integration into the labor market through placement in non-profit organizations and organizations of the wider public sector and local government.

Pursuant to the legislation governing the provision of SEN, any able-bodied beneficiary called to either work or training and unreasonably fails to do so ceases to be a beneficiary of the EIO.

The Ministry of Labor notes that the central goal of the social policy it implements is to try to reintegrate all able-bodied beneficiaries into the labor market and to implement the policy that subsidies work and not unemployment.
