Following the April 16 referendum, Turkey will redefine its relations with Europe, which it described as "cruel and fascist," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was quoted as saying by Hurriyet.
Turkey and Europe are at stake, with Ankara accusing some European countries such as Germany and the Netherlands of using what it calls "Nazi methods" by banning Turkish ministers from meeting with Turks abroad ahead of a crucial referendum on Erdogan expanded powers.
Turkey will not be able to be threatened by the EU through its accession process, Erdogan said, adding that from now on Europeans (officials) will not be allowed to "spy" on Turkish territory under various pretexts.
