Ingredients for 2-4 people
100 grams of sugar
1 sachet of vanilla powder
4 eggs with yolks
1 heart-shaped cake tin
200 grams of butter
200 grams of chocolate couverture
Implementation
Melt the couverture together with the butter in a baking pan, on low heat and stir constantly with a fork until the ingredients come together and the mixture becomes a liquid cream. Then leave the cream aside to cool.
Then beat the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla until you get a mixture that is very soft in texture and white in color. Add the beaten eggs to the chocolate-butter cream.
Beat the egg whites until you get a firm meringue. Carefully combine the meringue with the chocolate cream and pour the mixture into the buttered and floured pan carefully.
Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 25 minutes. Turn off the oven but let the cake cool completely and pour over with chocolate icing.
You can serve it by decorating it with blueberries or strawberries.
